Round the Island Yacht Race Spectator trip
Event Details
Saturday 1st July 2023 Round the Island Yacht Race, first race boat start from Cowes 0800hrs.
We will be leaving Yarmouth harbour 0745 TBC on the morning of the race with the intention of being at the Needles Lighthouse to see the first race boat rounding the Needles.
Come aboard the Yarmouth Rose, an 87 passenger vessel (spaces will be limited to provide for ample room / comfort) to view all the action afloat, and get up close to the spectator craft to get a feel of what it’s like to be onboard the race without actually having to compete!
We’ll remain in the Needles area to see the first wave of boats passing round the Needles, then returning to Yarmouth by around 1015-1100 depending on the action afloat, and speed of the fleet.
Parking will be available at the main IOW council cark park on the Green in Yarmouth – please leave ample time on your ticket in case the actions too good to miss!
